The German gas transmission system operators have presented a plan for almost 600 thousand kilometers of hydrogen network. The industry is thus a big step ahead of politics. But implementation cannot begin without a political and regulatory framework. A plan for this hydrogen network to connect northern German hydrogen production centers with southern German industrial centers has been presented yesterday in one of the largest German newspaper “Das Handelsblatt”.
